Today, I am going to tell you what Golden Triangle is?
Golden Triangle comprises the most visited cities of North-West India – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
AND why it is so famous?
It is because you will know the history of India through Forts, monuments and Museum of Rajasthan, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama- Masjid and counting in Delhi and who can forget the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Which makes a complete historical, cultural journey with the impact of Modernization.

This famous route the Golden Triangle for a long time is known as India’s 101 because of the very tight schedule of travel,

Before visiting Delhi, you should know the history of Delhi. It was first known as Indraprastha, Capital of Pandavas according to an Indian epic Mahabharata. Delhi has changed a lot, it reflects the colors of India’s culture. It is one place in the golden triangle which will inspire you, amaze you and impresses you.
Places in Delhi, which always welcomes you with opening arms are India Gate, Red Fort, Qutab Minar (UNESCO recognises world heritage site), Chandni Chowk, Humayun’s tomb, Lotus temple, Bahai Temple, Akshardham Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lodi Gardens,Jama Masjid, Jantar-Mantar, and counting.

2 AGRA : you cannot miss this place
From Delhi, Take a cab, or private vehicle, or train to the southeast in the Golden triangle and in nearly 2 hours you will reach one of the wonders of the world the Taj Mahal, Agra.
Agra is situated on the banks of Yamuna river was founded by Sultan Sikander Lodi (1956). Also, once upon a time it was the capital of Mughal emperors (1526-1658). It is because the city resembles the Mughal-Era.
Agra is also famous for Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Besides, Taj Mahal, the two are also in the list of UNESCO world heritage site.
Mehtab Garden, Moti Masjid, Chini ka Rauza, Ram Bagh are some places, you can also explore in Agra.

3 Jaipur : A City of forts
Here we are!!
Moving from Agra, it nearly takes 3-4 hours to reach Jaipur.
One of the most sought Indian city. Thousands of foreign tourists and a number of Indians could be seen here roaming.
Jaipur (The Pink City), was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. The city is well planned beautiful city consist of gardens, monuments, museum, resorts and heritage hotels (Once the residence of Maharajas).
Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Abhaneri Step Well, Nahargarh Fort, City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Jal Mahal, Birla Temple, Rambagh palace, Albert Hall Museum, Raj Mandir Cinema, Jaipur Zoo, Central Park, Sawai Mansingh Stadium and more. These places are worth to visit.
Do not forget to enjoy the balloon safari, bicycle safari and camel safari in Jaipur.
From Jaipur, it will take up to 5 hours via road to reach back to Delhi. And this is what it makes a Golden Triangle.
